The Council of the Notariats of the European Union is the European umbrella organisation of the national representations of the notariat. Its members are notarial organisations from 22 EU Member States. The C.N.U.E. develops notarial positions at EU level, coordinates the positions of its member notariats and represents them vis-à-vis the European institutions. Like the Bundesnotarkammer, the C.N.U.E. maintains a permanent office in Brussels.
